Follow up to your post on Anthony Bourdains No Reservation, Travel Channel Blog.

Your paragraph organization and sentence structure require organization. Further the grammar, spelling and punctuation require proof reading. While your topics are truly heartfelt they read more like a rough draft than a final copy. That is not a bad thing. When writing, it is important to utlize free association on your first rough draft. Write down everything that is important to you in this rough draft. Then go back and revise the rough into a draft. Give it a day then write a final copy and have someone whose opinion you value review your final for submission. This is important because, you and your writing are the product. That is what you want investor to buy into, you. It is important for investor to know that the people they associate with are as qualified as they are to express an expert opinion. Should you like, I would be glad to review you drafts, not the rough draft, but the draft.

Things to consider before hitting the road, do your research on the area of travel and know your site locations, before arrival. Know the cultures and be willing to, as they say, “When in Rome, do as the Romans.” Have a local contact you can trust, ( more than once they have saved my ass.) Draft a script, do a storyboard. Save on as many expenses as possible before you travel. It gets real expense traveling abroad, real quick. Final suggestion, simulate a production sequence on your home tuff. This is the time to work out any potential production problems you might have out of country. My experience has been, if it can go wrong it will, at the worst possible moment. So, drill, drill, drill.

    Best regards,
